Meet Pourville Artist:

Dandeena Schadle

Pourville Art Studio & Gallery has been the vision of Vinton, Iowa native & artist Dandeena Schadle.  Her life has been dedicated to sharing her passion and talent with others in her community, including over 31 years of teaching art at every age level.  She loves people of all ages and presents her classes in a fun and simple manner, sprinkled with laughter.

After graduating from Washington High School in Vinton, Iowa, she continued with her education by obtaining a bachelor's degree in Art Education from Iowa Wesleyan University in Mount Pleasant.  Ever since she has never failed in her continual pursuit of learning new methods to enhance her already successful abilities, logging hundreds of hours in classes and workshops.

When Dandeena isn't creating she's busy in her garden tending the flowers and vegetables on her farm outside of Van Horne where she lives with her husband Gary, her "Pupper" dog Shadow, and Ellie, the fat yet feisty cat.  She also enjoys spending as much time as she can with her family including her grandchildren and nieces & nephews, whether it be traveling, or even simply sharing a meal together.

As Dandeena's passion for art takes on this new adventure, we excitedly wait to see the many new artists that start to shine with the help of Pourville Art Studio & Gallery!
